What We’ve Done
Over 30 million children eat school lunch every day. Of those students, 70% of are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. This is an incredible opportunity to provide all children with fresh, delicious food, as well as the nutrition education needed to sustain a healthy lifestyle long after they’ve left the cafeteria.
At the Chef Ann Foundation, we’re dedicated to empowering schools nationwide with the tools, training, resources, and funding they need to serve healthier food made with real ingredients. In this section, we’ll go over our impact as an organization, our history, and dive into some success stories that show just how monumental our work has been in changing the way we feed our kids.
