Mellissa Honeywood, RDN is a dedicated advocate for food justice, with expertise in culinary arts, nutrition, and equity.Â
Mellissa Honeywood, RDN is a dedicated advocate for food justice, with expertise in culinary arts, nutrition, and equity.Â
As the Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of Food Justice, Honeywood champions initiatives that promote sustainable and inclusive food systems. Previously, as Director of Food & Nutrition Services for Cambridge Public Schools, Honeywood led efforts to enhance school meals with locally sourced ingredients, vegetarian options, and diverse international recipes. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Massachusetts Farm to School Network underscoring her commitment to advancing food justice and community engagement.
