Emily joined the Chef Ann Foundation team in February 2024 and serves as the organization’s Senior Coordinator of Values-Aligned Procurement.Â
Emily joined the Chef Ann Foundation team in February 2024 and serves as the organization’s Senior Coordinator of Values-Aligned Procurement.Â
Emily’s previous experiences as a Farm-to-School Educator and Program Coordinator for a food access and farming nonprofit have given her a solid foundation in food systems work. She believes that schools transitioning to scratch cooking and local sourcing is a key step in making our nation’s food systems more sustainable. Emily graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and International Development.Â
Outside of work, Emily can be found admiring wildflowers on her hikes, skiing, reading, or preparing meals with her friends.
